About Our Rooms
Five of the rooms have gorgeous en-suite bathrooms with eye-catching tiles and an array of striking lighting arrangements; while one room has its own separate bathroom. All rooms will come with luxurious bath robes, slippers, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion as standard.
Each bedroom has been carefully curated with all mod cons in mind. There are touch operated mirrors and under-floor heating in bathrooms. Each bedroom comes with a hairdryer, luggage rack, charging stations by beds and great views across the city.
Our exquisite beds offer cloud-like comfort, 200-thread count Egyptian sustainable cotton sheets and vegan-friendly pillows to ensure the perfect night’s sleep, space for cot, which can be provided on request. Depending on your group’s requirements, all the rooms can be converted into twins if needed, and two of the rooms have space for a cot.
Elsewhere, in a lovely touch, the building’s original ground floor safe and vault room has been converted into a luxury bathroom, complete with a double step-in bath – specially designed for two people to enjoy. The gold-effect taps, atmospheric lighting and marble-effect tiles combine to create an effortlessly polished look.

We have taken great care to celebrate the original features of this incredible building, which has a special place in Nottingham’s Castle Conservation Area. In celebration of the city’s rich history, all the bedrooms have been named after historic famous people of Nottingham. Choose from:
Watson, named after Fothergill Watson, the prominent Victorian architect who designed some of the city’s most stunning buildings
Lovelace, named after computer pioneer Ada Lovelace, daughter of the poet Lord Byron.
Booth, named after William Booth, the founder of the Salvation Army
Howitt, named after Thomas Cecil Howitt, the architect who designed Castle House
Shepherd, named after famous suffragette Annie Shepherd
Hawksley, named after Thomas Hawksley, an engineer who was responsible for designing the country’s first high-pressure water system with clean water at the turn of a tap
THE LUXURY KITCHEN AND BAR
Our stand-out kitchen certainly has the ‘wow’ factor – you might not even be tempted to venture outside the front door during your stay.
Pull up a chair to watch your group’s nominated chef in action at the central island, which features both a gas and induction hob – and enjoy using all the kitchen gadgets you could wish for, including our double ovens, two warming drawers, dishwasher, microwave, large fridge-freezer and a Tassimo coffee machine with separate pantry.
With full-length windows looking out across Nottingham and the sought-after residential area The Park, this welcoming kitchen space is light and airy and complemented by the striking colour palette. There’s a highchair for our little guests, and the space is cosy and warm thanks to the central heating.
And, with plenty of space to dance to your favourite tunes on our kitchen speakers, whether a hen or stag do, milestone birthday or bridal party, we’ve got you covered.
Walk through the double glass doors to enjoy your lazy brunch, afternoon tea or a gastronomic treat at the huge dining room table with plush and comfortable seating, the perfect glass and tableware – and your own private bar to mix those essential cocktails.
THE ENTERTAINMENT SPACES
Cosy up and sink into the huge velvet sofas in the drawing room, where you can watch the large flat screen smart TV or simply admire the incredible original oak wood panelling throughout the room that we’re rightly proud of.
The beautiful colours in the room bring out the beauty of the wood. The stunning furniture and lighting combine to make this a space to relax in and enjoy to the fullest.
Meanwhile, our rooftop terrace – complete with hot tub – offers the chance to soak away your troubles as you take in the amazing views of the city.
The property also has CCTV covering all external doors that is 24-hour recorded for the security of the building.
